Finding Business Grants Tip #2
Contact your local SCORE office

Most businesses find that the services and available mentorship at local SCORE offices are priceless when it comes to launching and growing a business, especially if you don't have a business background or education. SCORE gives valuable business advice, and it is also free for entrepreneurs. It is also known as "Counselors to America's Small Business".

SCORE offices often have information on a variety of business grants and could also have information on grants that are often offered somewhat "exclusively" through the many SCORE advisors.

Don't know how to find your nearest SCORE office? We list them on our State by State resource pages. Find your state and the nearest office to where you reside. Full contact details are listed, including phone numbers and websites, whenever available.
