Ten things that will get your grant application denied
Tip # 4 - Age-proof your application

Whether it is permitted by law or not, there is often age descrimination when it comes to anything business related. But don't forget, it works both ways. If you need to specify job experience as part of your grant application, if you fall into the "older demographic" you probably don't want to list the jobs you have held all the way back to the 1970s, unless it is particularly relevant to the business you are applying for a grant for. Likewise, if you are in your early twenties, you want to include the jobs you held as a teenager to make your job history look longer and going back farther than you otherwise might.
