17 business plan mistakes that could jeopardize getting a business grant
Tip # 4 - Bring on the details to your business plan

A business plan is not like a cover letter where generalities about your potential or current business practices can be generalized or glossed over. A business plan is where you get detailed and down to the nitty gritty.

If you don't get detailed and leave many key parts of your business plan full of vague assumptions, you will get rejected on that alone. They want to see that you have done your research and have all the neccessary information and details needed to get it done. Remember, the grant committee can't read your mind, so even if you know that you know it in your head, they will not know that and assume it is a case of not enough research.
